When you are making a booking and need payment details, call your client, and have a conversation. Remind them of the following
"Never provide any payment details to anyone else regarding your travels – I will always be the one talking to you about this"

Direct Travel has identified an active scam campaign targeting travel advisors through unsolicited requests for Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, or Google Meet meetings.
The Scenario:
Bad actors are posing as legitimate “new clients” and asking to have a video meeting – and they want to send you the link to connect.

Common Types of Credit Card Fraud:
Fraudsters will contact a travel advisor to book a flight with a stolen credit card. They will make the reservation using the name on the credit card, and then call the airline after the booking is made to change the name on the ticket to their own. By the time the victim notices the charge on their credit card, the fraudster has already enjoyed their free flight. Protect yourself from situations like this by keeping an eye out for the following:
